Is it the right fitness plan?

I want to be fit and healthy. Walk 20 minutes total in school every day and try to run for 30 minutes 3-4 days a week. I do my best to stay away from junk food and watch calories im eating. Do you think that is a good thing? I have 5 "1''y weighs 118-120 pounds. But my mother told me I should go on a diet. Is it really so bad? Do you think my fitness plan does not work if I wanted? If so, How long should I do until I get in shape?

His fitness plan is very reasonable and should do well to keep your heart healthy. Also might consider adding the building exercise into your plan.
