Central Michigan 2010 football predictions
After finishing 23rd in the standings, Central Michigan Chippewas capped the 2009 season with a thrilling 44-41 victory in double overtime on the Troy Trojans in the GMAC Bowl. It was a fitting end to a team that carried out the year 12-2 overall, winning eight of their games in the Western Conference MAC. The powerful offensive Chippewas' ran for 168 and passing through a further 255 yards per game, scoring an average of 33.9 points to lead the conference and finished 13th overall in the country.
Now the first year head coach Dan Enos accepts the challenge of leading a team that has lost many key offensive players, including star Dan LeFevour quarter. You do not need a lot of faith in a ferocious defense that largely responded to the shoulder for much of the load, keeping its distance Chippewas impactor.

Offense:
The Chippewas return all 12 starters, but not including quarterback Star Dan LeFevour left the show after being caught by the Chicago Bears in the 2010 draft NFL. Fill your shoes will be a difficult task for any replacement. That candidate is sophomore Ryan Radcliffe, who has struggled during spring training trying to grasp new offensive scheme Enos. The student redshirt sophomore completed 25 of 41 passes for 229 yards in the game in the spring, and if you have to fill out to an acceptable level, the defense will cover it. You must be ready for the season opener against Hampton.
Chippewa offensive line "has been hampered by the lack of depth and injuries during the spring, which could harm such an important game in management.
What could be bad for the CMU cotton broker duo Paris and Tim Phillips. Cotton showed his versatility and ability in the contest last year against Michigan State, where he rushed for an average of 4.5 yards per carry and showed that it could also contribute as a recipient of the fifth, scoring on a 9-yard reception in the final minute of play to lift the Chippewas "in which the favored Spartans. The short stature treated Phillips to prove after a season plagued by injuries that limited him to only four games. The backfield is complemented by first-year bottling, Ben Brown, who appears in Romeo, Michigan, where in his senior year, rushed for 1405 yards and 19 touchdowns. Expect to see some time while working Enos in the rotation.
During this time, the group had been a big hit when they lost the receiver Antonio Brown to project the FNL, to be selected by the Steelers in the 6th round. This left Enos questioning that will take over the number of beneficiaries of place. It seems that the young Deon Butler has a chance to start a year after a vocational school cadence, but do not know if it will be selected as the best starter.
Defense:
Total Chippewa defense has the combination right of veterans and newcomers and should be able to maintain the style of defense that stifles opposing teams held a conference of more than 18.9 points per game – At number 17 in the nation in general in 2009.
Enos spent most of spring practice, adding the size of a file that has been dominated by smaller players, searching for new recruits and the return of several players to those who try to give a solid first impression the hope of receiving a starting position on the list.
One of returns is Adde Jahleel DB. The second year will receive increased playing time this season after decent performance in 2009, following a red shirt 2008. Adde has the natural ability and speed in particular. He will be paired with Anthony Hollis, a transfer of junior college, has impressed coaches since his arrival. Hollis racing 40 yards in 4.3 seconds while its speed will be a welcome addition to school Chippewa.
A recent additions defensive line this year is Kevin Henry. The 6-5, 255 pounds Henry, with the size and strength, to have the opportunity to hunt for a quarter of the opposition. His presence alone should scare the line in the heart of all MAC SBC.
Finally, among the starters are returning linebackers Bellora Nick and Matt Berning. The duo led the defense during the campaign last season, with Berning high counts of 108 career tackles and Bellora 100 tackles with its average over the past three seasons and two interceptions.
Forecast 2010: Early in the MAC: The Chippewas had a history of the 2009 season. Although I do not see the top of this feat, I see no ending for the first time in MAC West and toward its fifth straight court appearance. The team will problems on the offensive early, but must find his way through three or four weeks. Because of this, many will be riding on the defense to make more plays larger and more force turnovers, especially early in the season.
