Fitness Center Equipment Mats
What I can include in an entertainment center to prevent wobbling on thick carpet?
In my previous apartment had Pergo floors, and the center was fine. Now does not seem safe, as if it could fall at any time. The center itself is fine, so it must be the thick carpet. What I can use? Is there any type of carpet, similar to an exercise mat for fitness equipment? Or a piece of linoleum or tile it?
I screw a cable to the stud wall and one on the back of the cabinet to secure. You do not 'need to put anything under it, if you know you will not fall. Make sure you hit either a stud or fall. If it is a large unit, you may want to put two wires on either side.
