Rights regarding gym use in the UK.?
We signed up for a gym paying a set amount for a certain amount on months. At the time of joining we asked about getting a fitness plan done for us and they said of course thats fine. Its been a month now and not once have we seen a fitness instructor in the gym to help us or anyone out. Also they keep setting dates for us to sit down and make this fitness plan with them and twice we have turned up to find out the instructor has taken the day off. We are paying for use of the gym but not receiving the help we need… What are our rights?
If the use of a fitness instructor is included in any terms and conditions then you i would think are within your rights to stop paying and cancel any contracts you have with them as many gyms now make you sign a contract and it would seem the gym have breached the terms and i would also think you are entitled to a full refund of money already paid unless you have used the facilities they could argue their case under these circumstances for more advise though i would ask at citizens advise
