Hello everyone. I'm Donna and I have been working for Alan Cowgill a little over three years. Undoubtedly, education is the most demanding, retail reflection, and satisfying, fun job I ever had. That's a lot to say I am a mother of two grown children, grandmother of one, and a 20-year veteran of the United States Air Force.

My daughter is 22 and, like many young people, is doing what it takes to find their place in the world. She is a wonderful mother and I am very proud of her. My son just graduated from high school and will take classes at Ohio State University in the fall, working toward a degree in architecture design. I'm proud of it too. My grandson, aged three months is a joy and I am getting spoiled whenever I can.

I joined the Air Force shortly after high school, left home, and rarely looked back for 17 years. I took a difficult decision, but it was the right decision and a decision I regret this day even though I walked away my family for many years. The Air Force was a good choice for me. I was already a hard worker and very disciplined, my experiences there he honed his skills. I have traveled around the world and has to see and do things I know I'll never have if I had stayed at home. I was stationed in Alaska (twice), England, Mississippi, Arizona, California, Turkey and right on the path of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, when I retired. I was temporarily assigned to locations in Italy, Germany, Texas, Alabama, Nevada, and parts of California. Of all the places I've been, Turkey was my favorite. It is a beautiful country, full of historical and religious significance, with some of the nicest people I've met anywhere, and the most amazing food.

I spent the first 9 years as a mechanic working on the computer Aircraft Support and 11 years working as a legal assistant for both defense and prosecution. I learned to follow instructions and checklists for the "T".

I had never heard of the private loans they met Mr Cowgill. The attention to detail and ability to follow check sheets that became a routine for me in the Air Force transferred perfectly into my life with integrity. Even a small error or delay in the paperwork can be a big business and cost you more than you can imagine. Get the money, find the house, inspect the house, make supply, get the house, fix the house, and determine their exit strategy. Do it again and again. The notes not only be accurate, but the loans must be tracked and the documentation correctly. He was struggling with his company and trying to diversify into other areas and asked me to come work with him. Had spent many years away from home and had just started work on rebuilding my relationships with two of my brothers. It took me long to realize how important my family is. Because of this, I felt I had to let Mr. Cowgill and become a part of my family again. It was a very difficult decision. He was very understanding and we agreed. I would like to work on time part in the office once a week to pay bills and remotely beyond that, so I really do not get out.

I worked with my brother only five months before returning full time to the office of Mr. Cowgill's. In the end, the economy was changing, the company of my brother and I wanted to help me return home. I missed my kids, my house, and was seeking a long distance relationship difficult to manage. I hated the day I told my brother that I was leaving more than it did when I told Mr. Cowgill. Not trade that time with my family for anything. I left there knowing that my brothers as adults rather than remembered as the executioners of my youth. During our time together, my brother and I talked a lot about Mr. Cowgill and his use of private lenders. Eventually that led to Scott, becoming one of Mr. Cowgill students. Convinced him to make an investment in your future and get a course of real estate investment.

When I returned to the office, my work has changed again. changed. expanded. changed. expanded? OK, he added. While I was working on integrity, also assumed Colby Properties responsibilities as well. I'm still working on business and I love her more than three years ago. I like going to work. I started out building new products and have added the event coordination and office management. I take great pride in creating a product that can help students improve their business and succeed. Did I mention I love my job? I really do.
It is difficult to say which part I like best. In Integrity, I like working with tenants, private lenders and ensure that all our papers in order. Tenants are my favorites because they are like a journey. No two problems, issues, discussions, or months are the same. I just laugh. I have a lot of satisfaction to keep track of all your problems and make sure they are as happy as they can be us. I also like accounts payable and accounts receivable that I manage to, now, the four companies of Mr. Cowgill. I learned to love the numbers.

In Colby, there is much satisfaction in working with our students, helping them with their problems, answering questions, and get them in training camps. When I talk to a student who raves about one of the programs and has accumulated a lot of money, not a feeling of pride that we helped him or her to do that. I love training camps. I like to see the faces that go with the names I see on a regular basis. I like to learn about students and where they are in your business. I especially like watching all different aspects of private loans come together and the lights in the room, brilliantly blinding by the last day. If you have not been, I do not know what are you waiting. That's what I tell my brother every time I talk to him.
