Gps Fitness Watch

Garmin Forerunner GPS Watches – What do you think about them?
I’m interested in buying a garmin forerunner gps watch (fitness watch). It’s gps based so it makes tracking your runs accurate. Before I drop $150+ on one of these I just wanted to know from anyone who uses one if they would recommend getting one. If so, which one do you have? I’m leaning toward a forerunner 305 model. Thanks in advance for your answers.
I can’t offer much info on the 305, but I do own a forerunner 405 model. I’ve been using it for about 6 months now and I would probably buy it again if I had to do it all over again. I don’t know how familiar you are with these gps watches, but you probably already know that they can keep track of your distance, pace, time, lap time and a lot more.
If you train more than once a week and like to keep historic data of your workouts, you would probably benefit from owning one. I chose the 405 over the 305 mostly because the 405 looks more like a “real” watch so I can wear it on a daily basis. Other than that, they pretty much do the same thing. Hope that helps.

An interesting discussion is worth comment. I think that you should write more on this topic, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers
