Is it harmful to exercise when I'm bored?
I have 14 years old, 5'1 and 90 pounds I think I'm underweight .. I'm homeschooled and usually wakes up at 6 am to start school and end at 9 am the day I get bored if you do not go anywhere so I'm in my room watch TV and exercise .. My mom bought me three pounds, five pounds and 8 pounds dumbbells and an elliptical and a band of latex, so I just made some stretching and the use of all equipment. when I feel like .. i do 10 minutes on the elliptical every time I'm bored. (Like today, I did about 20 minutes so far) and then at night (three times a week) I go to ballet class .. then after the ballet class and then have dinner, exercise MORE .. is so bad that I exercise? I love working out .. It makes me feel good .. I also love what your doing to my body and I feel healthy! My diet is very healthy to eat lots of vegetables and fruits .. and I assure you to eat enough .. My ballet classes are 1 hour Monday to Wednesday 1 hour 2 hours Friday
5'1 "and 90 pounds gives a BMI of 17. A BMI of 17 is considered healthy for girls to 17 years old, so they are not underweight. It's good exercise while you are eating enough. Being fit and healthy is always good, it is even advised that people are not trying to lose weight should get at least 30 minuets of moderate intensity exercise at least 5 days a week.
