problems of children of fitness – and to help them get more exercise

In recent years there has been a lot of care in. and the column dedicated to health and fitness of children. While much of the criticism has been about what they eat the young, has also been a lot of concerns on the amount of exercise they do in the modern world.

So why are not getting much exercise more?

There are a number of reasons why children are getting less exercise and less. One reason is the increasing popularity of technology such as computers, televisions and game consoles. With so many entertainment options – either of the channels, video games or internet in general – is not that children are inside out at this time. Not just at home, either. At school, cutting computer internet appeal to many children in their lunch break, which means you no longer have an hour of exercise during the weekdays.

Another reason is that concerns about security, with many parents afraid to let their children play too far from home. Years ago children go and explore by bicycle, culture, but today – rightly or wrongly – is more protective of our children when they are at all times. Unfortunately, a number of parents who are also struggling to find time to spend their own sports and other activities with their children. The long hours of work and household responsibilities means that children are not receiving the attention it before.

How can exercise more?

It is extremely important that children get plenty of exercise, both for their physical health. Here are some easy ways you can help …

1) Walk to school – if they are still young, finding the time to walk to school instead of driving around the corner. If you are a little older that age, why do not we walk to school with a group of friends. Will be safe and simple walking is a form of exercise.

2) Turn off the TV – if a father comes home and puts the TV immediately, it is likely that children begin to replicate this behavior. Obviously, it can be very annoying when you enter, but by changing one or two bad habits, could encourage their children to do the same.

3) To see the sport – but not the exercise itself, watching a sporting event vivo, which may bring a new interest in the game themselves. If so, make sure you encourage them without being too pushy. If not, the pressure. May have come wrong sport.

4) Think outside the box – if conventional sports like football are not for them, so why not see if they want something a little different – like judo or karate – and offered to take a lesson.

5) Give the garden – while many parents like the idea of growing flowers or having a beautiful lawn, which is more important that children are allowed to play and exercise. If that means you have a set of goals, a badminton net or some other sports equipment that wears out the grass, so be it – after all, is definitely worth it.

6) The dust boots – if you child is in football, watch a ball and take the park by a foul-over. Similarly, if you like rugby, cricket, swimming or any other sport (unless karate or judo, in which case is best left to the good training!).

7) Take them to the gym – is true, children are allowed in the gym as well. In fact, there is a number of children gyms and health clubs family friendly available throughout the UK and Ireland, including a Total Fitness gym in Dublin , which are well equipped for the health of your small and enjoyment.
