Any good exercises to do at home?

I'm not that good physical shape, I want to change my metabolism and improve my fitness. I already follow a diet fairly healthy. I need to know if there are exercises for the core and lower body that I can do at home without specialized equipment. I'm not very fit, can usually reach about 35 ab crunches at one time in the evenings, usually when I'm tired. 5 minutes later I can do another 15, and continue so until I ran out of energy and just fell asleep. Also, how long does it take to see results? I've been trying to do sit-ups every night for three days (Fell asleep in the middle of the night before, my abdominal pain are cited throughout the day and took me out) and I lost about 2 pounds. Way to school every day about 1.5 – km. 2 tips and stuff would be appreciated. : D

I'm trying to get in shape now and I only like tonight gym memberships and I've been trying to eat helthier but not diet, but i search for videos on YouTube and go along with them if you search "in training at home" or "exercises cardo "or anything associated with theres a lot of great things of existence. Wii Fit is also something I enjoy doing, it tells you the calories your loss and stuff. really try to focus on cardio exercises because that's how to lose fat and then do the muscle training to tone up after yourself.
