Consider LA FItness. I am a member of both, 24 hour fitness just because i pay 10.00 for all clubs (from years ago), but i dont use it at all.
24 hour fitness operations in all of their Orange County locations at least is not very good at all. i.e broken machines that dont get fixed for months, smelly / dirty gyms that dont get cleaned but once or twice a week, etc.
LA fitness is the exact oppisite. Very clean, very nice, everything works, etc.
Right now i think both are the same prices.
A few years ago the owners of 24 hour fitness sold , i think thats when it started going downhill.
Its sad to see a gym with so much potentail let itself go.
