"I can learn to drive without a teacher up with me?

I want to learn how to lead climb. I am very skilled at roping up to 5.10. I know how sure, set up rope anchors cliffs outside, and I have a very basic knowledge of the tools used with lead climbing. I have access to a wall of escalation is part of my school gym. The wall has quick links that are presented for lead climbing, but there is nobody here who knows how to lead climb. I wonder if possible (do not read stupid) to be able to teach me and some friends how to conduct ourselves up. Does it matter what kind of rope we use, static or dynamic? Do I need any equipment other than what is needed for top rope? Is there any information you need to know before jumping into the wall, (GOOD websites, books ,…)?

dynamic rope only. Lead climbing is very different from anything else. Even in a totally screwed route more afraid of their dry. You fall much further. The reason people are so scared about lead that is just arent used to being liked. In the interior walls never falls over and you never get more than a scratch. Lead has a high likelihood of pain with a real fall. You they tend to exert more control over about stay and lose momentum. I would stick to 5.6 for a while and make a choice at that level until they have fallen a few times and used to it. Then get on the routes demanding.
