Do you think this weight loss technique work?

I’m thinking about not eating until I reach my goal weight, which is 20 pounds away and only drinking green tea throughout the day.
Then, when I reach my goal weight, I will slowly start eating again and find out what the caloric intake is for maintenance. Do you think it would work?

that fast is not going to get you what you want. You will lose weight, but when you do it like that much will be muscle and you will end up bouncing back in weight and it will be harder to lose and more easy to gain because your body will go into starvation mode and make corrections that can last a life time.

Here is how to eat and be healthy, though you need to fill it in with a lot of your own research, this will get you on the right track. If you give it what it needs your body will tell you when it has enough. If you eat foods without what your body needs it will always crave more, but what you give it will never satisfy because it needs what you never give it.

First, cut out all food containing high fructose corn syrup, that not only makes us fat, but it also makes us hungry, it should be outlawed in food, and it’s probably the main reason so many people in the US and many in Europe now are getting fat in my opinion. You can follow it’s path by looking for fat.

You should cut out all processed foods including all sugar and sodas, and all dairy except yogurt.

excersize helps regulate hunger, you don’t need to much to do this, just at least 20 minutes of good cardio workout like jogging, or an hour of brisk walking a day

eating good nutritious food can help cut the hunger pangs you get from eating a lot of empty calories and never satisfying your body with the vitamines minerals, and nutrients it needs. You will still want to eat a lot, but you can eat a lot of the good stuff (as long as you don’t over do the starch like rice, but a couple of cups of cooked brown rice is ok and that’s quite a bit) and it will be good, eat until you are satisfied if it’s good nutritious food like leafy greens.

lot of dark leafy greens is helpful, and a lot of fruit, no bread except sour dough with whole grains, no stripped grains like white rice or anything using white flour. Brown rice is great. Sub honey in some moderation as a sweetener.

Also, much of the time thirst is felt as hunger by the body and misunderstood by us, drink a glass of water every hour during the day, not ice water either because that inhibits digestion.

You also want to build up your digestive system, which will also build up your immune system. Don’t eat much meat or substitute soy products totally for meat, and you only need about 3 oz of meat a day max for protein if you do eat meat. Eating to much meat is bad for the bacterial balance in your gut, and you want to build that up with plain sugar free yogurt every day.

You do this and you should feel great and be extremely healthy.

The change is not easy, changing dietary habits never is but just stick to it. When you start this you will probably feel flu like symtoms for about a week as you eliminate toxins from your body, but after that you will start feeling great and you will not hardly ever get sick, and your body will start increasing bone and muscle mass and you will be very healthy.

Concentrate on health, and the weight loss will come and be sustainable, which is what is most important.
