This isnt really cool for me to answer as I’ve only tried to gain or lose at a maximum 10 pounds in my life, but… When I want to lose a little I just tell myself when I am eating I am going to leave a bit because I know that although I havent finished it I dont have to and that will be enough. If I want to gain I eat my normal stuff but eat a can of tuna between lunch and dinner for extra protien and calories.
