Gm at the State Fair of Texas 2007
General Motors Corporation (GM) will have a large stake in the upcoming 2007 State Fair of Texas, September 28 to 21 October. The automaker based in Detroit will make the event as the stage for the public debut of the new 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid and 2008 GMC Yukon Hybrid sport utility vehicle (SUV) models. The two SUV models will debut in dealer showrooms after the State Fair of Texas. With the introduction of the 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon Hybrid 2008 Hybrid, GM said consumers want to have a preview of what to expect from these two models.
According to Ed Peper, Chevrolet general manager: "The new Tahoe and Yukon Hybrid SUVs offer the best of both worlds to customers and complement the Texan lifestyle full capacity -. waiting for an SUV with better fuel economy-of-forever "
Both the 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid and 2008 GMC Yukon Hybrid come with a number of functions inside and out, along with propulsion fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly. The 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon Hybrid 2008 Hybrid is equipped with a monstrous 6.0-liter V8 engine under the hood. This power unit of the Tahoe and Yukon Hybrid comes with GM's fuel system management active, that allows better fuel economy and performance. Active Fuel Management technology from GM is able to clear half of the engine cylinders. This means that the motor can operate with only 8, 6 or 4 cylinders depending on driving conditions.
As a hybrid model, the 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid and GMC Yukon 2008 also comes with a battery pack and can travel solely on electric power with a maximum speed of 30 mph. A place in the propulsion reduces power consumption of fuel for both models. The hybrid powertrain system also allows the battery is recharged through regenerative braking. Addition with the fuel savings can be achieved by accelerating electric drive fast and the engine speed and load control.
According to GM, the Tahoe and Yukon Hybrid models "offer a 30 percent gain in overall fuel economy and, under certain driving conditions, electrically operated pure. "
Both the 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon Hybrid 2008 Hybrid will be produced in the state of Texas in the GM plant in Arlington Assembly.
Alicia Boler-Davis, manager of the Arlington GM plant said:

Most car manufacturers offer hybrid vehicle technology only in smaller vehicles with less space for passengers and cargo. GM has not yet announced the availability and the manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) two hybrid SUVs. Maybe consumers should upgrade their auto parts (such as title = "BMW body kit"> BMW body kit) to waiting.
